Samantha McCraine

I was the recipient of the Nicole Lemieux Knight scholarship in 2012. Since then, I've gone on to attend McGill University in Montreal, Canada where I'm studying International Development and Anthropology. I've always had an interest in seeing the world as well as working with and for others, something in common with Nicole. Thus far, my passions have led me South, to Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Panama, and Peru where I've been able to grow and learn alongside locals. Looking forward, I intend to continue traversing the globe until I find somewhere I can best apply my abilities. I know that where I am now and where I intend to go would be less possible without the help I've been able to receive over the years from sources such as the Nicole Lemieux Knight Scholarship Fund. I will never be able to properly thank those responsible for running that fund and thus providing a world of opportunity to students such as myself. This act of kindness is the sort of thing that only multiplies the goodness in the world, and for that as well I am thankful.
